Breath Alcohol Testing Instructions

The 2 Options for Breath Alcohol Testing are Ordering Online or Choose Any Site, Pay for the Test, Send Express Labs the Results

Option 1: Order Breath Alcohol Tests Online

  1. Go to "Order Alcohol Tests" on the Top Left Tabs in your Account
  2. Select the Reason for Testing
  3. Find a Collection Site
  4. Order the Alcohol Test
  5. Check your Email for the QPassport (from Quest within 1 Hour)
  6. Call the Collection Site to Confirm they are Open Before Driving there
  7. Bring the QPassport to the Site or the Collector Scans the Barcode from Driver's Phone

Option 2: Choose Any Site, Pay for the Test, Send Express Labs the Results

  • Choose Any Site that performs DOT Breath Alcohol Testing, Pay for the Test, and send the DOT Breath Alcohol Results with the Receipt of Payment to Results@ExpressLabs.com
  • Google "Alcohol Testing Sites Near Me" for Concentra, Hospitals, Private Doctors, Urgent Cares & After-Hours Sites or use the Collection Site Locator - Click Here
  • Call the Collection Site to Confirm they are Open Before Driving there

Breath Alcohol Results

  • Ordered Online: Results are Emailed & Posted to your Express Labs Account
  • If the Test was not an Online Order send Express Labs Breath Alcohol Results with the Receipt of Payment to Results@ExpressLabs.com (Type "Breath Alcohol Results" on the Subject Line)

Breath Alcohol Testing Fees

Express Labs charges $80 for DOT Breath Alcohol Test Results when Ordering Online in your Express Labs Account.  Invoices are Due Upon Receipt on the 1st of the Month for the Previous Month's Results.  Members are Required to keep a Valid Credit Card in their Express Labs Account and Authorize Express Labs to charge for Drug & Alcohol Results.  Drug & Alcohol Testing Fees are not Included in the Membership Fee

What is the QPassport? (Authorization Form from Quest Diagnostics)

The QPassport ia an Authorization Form that is Emailed Directly from Quest Diagnostics within 1 Hour of Ordering Drug Tests in your Express Labs Account.  Quest's Email is "noreply@questdiagnostics.com"

  • Drivers must give the QPassport Form to the Collector or the Collector can Scan the Barcode from the Driver's Cell Phone
  • QPassports are only Valid for the Collection Site Selected Listed on the QPassport.   If there issue with a QPassport place a New Order.  Members are charged for Results not Orders

Why do you need to Call the Collection Site?

Call the Collection Site to Confirm they are Open and and Performing Drug Testing Before Driving there.  Some Sites may have Temporarily Closed have Reduced Hours due to Staffing, Weather Issues, or their Computer System is Down.  It is Advisable to get Breath Alcohol Testing Monday to Friday, in the Morning, when most Collection Sites are Available
